This recipe is for an old time favorite Gingerbread! But not just any gingerbread... this one makes great houses and even better cut out cookies! It has just enough spices to taste great on their own or decorated with icing and candies. It is so much fun getting the kids together to decorate and to see where their imaginations go.
This Gingerbread Church I made many years ago for a contest at Mount Snow in Vermont. I can't remember if I won anything but it did make the cover of the Brattleboro Reformer a local newspaper.
